every year, first sunday in december the kesselhaus where i have my atelier opens the doors for a public viewing. hundrets of visitors joined this event... for those who missed, see you next year in my atelier!

DARE > Heimspiel

Was für 2 Tage. Das Heimspiel ist zu ende, in Fussballer kreisen würde man sagen das Spiel wurde gewonnen, zu Null versteht sich. ;-). Die Ausstellung fand auf einer Baustelle statt, der eine oder andere Besucher war wohl etwas überrascht... ich würde behaupten, positiv überrascht. Bis zum nächsten Heimspiel wird es etwas dauern, vorerst stehen wieder Auswärtsspiele an. Anfang Dezember mit Ping Pong an der ArtBasel in Miami und der Tag der offenen Ateliers steht wie jedes jahr am 6. Dezember an.

Dank geht an MADIBA Immoblien für die Location, CARHARTT und MOLOTOW für den Support. SOUND.THESEED für die ganze Organisation und Pressearbeit. 29 DEGRES für die Aufbau Hilfe und Beschriftung. Chrissi, Steffi, Lars, Leckomio, Krell und meine Famile für die Hilfe vor Ort! RUSL für die Fotos, Guldenmann für die Lichttechnik und Hase für den Security Dienst by Night! ... nicht zu vergessen die Sound-technik von Nick Bothe :-)

DARE | Heimspiel

after 2006 i'm exhibiting again in Basel, my hometown. That's the reason why the exhibition is called "Heimspiel" (home game). The exhibition will just be for 2 days... so save the date!

DARE in Yverdon | Switzerland

On Saturday the 3rd of October i'll have my next Exhibition at the "LA GRILLE" Gallery in Yverdon. This small City along the lake of Neuchatel has some wonderful memories for me, 'cause i've spend all my summer vacations as a child close to Yverdon. Comming back there to exhibit means a lot for me, also because the Gallery is runned by close friends of mine.

The new silkscreen "egomiami" will be available for the first time at the "LA GRILLE" Gallery.

HOT ROD & ART SHOW GEHT DIESEN AUGUST IN DIE DRITTE RUNDE

Hot Rods, Custom Cars, Workshops, Tatookünstler, Burlesque

Tänzerinnen, Korsett Shows und Live Bands bilden den Rahmen für die

Hot Rod & Art Show vom 28. – 29. August 2009 auf dem alten Bochmann

Areal. Bereits zum dritten Mal stellt sich die Tradition von Hot Rodding in

Weil am Rhein vor, altes amerikanisches Metall trifft auf ein interessiertes

Publikum und wird wieder einmal gefeiert!

2007 öffnete die erste Hot Rod & Art Show in Weil ihre Tore. Alles was wichtig ist,

gibt es zu sehen. Der bekannte Customizer Gene Winfield und der

herausragende Lil Daddy Roth gaben sich in den vorherigen Ausführungen die

Klinke in die Hand. Dem wurde im vergangen Jahr mit dem Besuch von Robert

und Suzanne Williams noch eins draufgesetzt. Diesen August wird Lil Daddy

Roth da sein. Kustom-Kultur Künstler, Legenden und Helden gepaart mit einer

Menge von Freunden, treffen sich auf dem Gelände, um eine grosse Party zu

feiern. Die Tradition von Hot Rodding und Pinstriping kennenzulernen und

einem interessierten Publikum vorzustellen ist das erklärte Ziel. Es wird einiges geboten

und der August wird heiss!

Die Hot Rod & Art Show ist eine Veranstaltung der Road Devils und Smokin

Shutdown unterstüzt von Edwin Europe. Edwin Europe bietet mit dem Alten

Bochmann Areal eine ungewöhnliche Lokation in Weil am Rhein, die dieser

einzigartigen Veranstaltung Ihren Rahmen gibt. Das Baujahr regiert den Platz –

alte amerikanische Fahrzeuge bis Baujahr 1965 kommen gratis alle anderen

müssen bezahlen und draussen bleiben.

i would like to make a little tribute to the famous Basel-line in 2 parts. we call it the Basel-line, but it's just the trackside around Basel with kilometers of painted walls since the 80ies. it's probably one of the biggest outdoor galleries worldwide and thousands of people can see it every day.

...... what an international afternoon. i did a wall at the Carhartt Gallery in Weil am Rhein with KACAO77 from Berlin, SOTEN from Kopenhagen, TOOMER from Los Angeles, TAKE2 from Melbourne, OMSK from Leipzig and RECS from Caserta. TIWS from Kopenhagen was the MC of the day.

an international hot summer day near Basel with CHAS and DOES from Holland, SIRUM and TAKES from Melbourne, RUSL and COLE from Germany and the Swiss connection VIEW, WORSE and me. We had a chill out afternoon, a delicious BBQ with the sausage and sauce chief "Grillmaster Cole".

.... and then the rain came... i mean, not only a little bit of rain. it was raining cats and dogs!

we finished somehow our wall... with drips on the wall and wet socks!

this has nothing to do with art.. but i have to say i'm proud to have the poker belt back! we had a poker tournament with 12 players and the heads-up was tuff. so for the next 3 or 4 month i will wear the belt proudly for the 3rd time! thanks to Ronny for the long final at the poker table!

The Kunsthaus Offenburg feels like a Museum. The location is one of the best locations i've ever had to present my artworks. The exhibiton goes on 'til the 2nd of August 2009. Free entrance ;-)
